Σχόλιο: μεταξύ των συγκεκριμένων δύο αγγλικών μεταφράσεων, τα με διαφορετική σημασία ρήματα oppose και offer, τελικά, στο όλο ποίημα παράγουν το ίδιο ποιητικό αποτέλεσμα. Θα μπορούσα να πω πως σε μια συζήτηση (όποια και αν είναι) η κατάλληλη (όχι η αδιάφορη) σιωπή προσφέρει εύστοχα την αντίθεσή της στον ανούσιο διάλογο.
